For technical breaches of the Licensing Act the following were fined la and costs: McLennon, Taihape, Breidicker, Kohukohu, Taylor and Co., Wellington, Levin and Co., Ltd., Wellington. In the following cases judgment went b= default for plaintiffs :—Snowsill (Mr Hine), v. Turner £2 3s and costs 12s 6d; same v. Coburn, £2 17s Sd and c-osts £1 163 6d; Green and Colebrook (Mr Hine), v. Mclntyre Bros. £l4 8s 5d costs £2 9s 6d; same v. Pitcon, £34. 2s Gd costs £2 14s; same v. Seymour * £2 9s 2d costs 10s; McColl (Mr Hine), v. Searancke 16s and costs 7s Gd; same v. Taylor, 19s costs 13s 6d; Morgan v. Nelson (Mr Sharpies), £l6 4s costs £1 10s Gd; Ritchie (Mr Short) v. Young, £7 10s, costs £1 3s 6d. In the judgment summons case, Chilcott (Mr Hine) v. Lloyd, an order was made for immediate payment or in default three days' imprisonment.
