WAIKATO CENTRAL A. AND P. SHOW.
Special attention is drawn to a replace advertisement in reference to the Waikato Central Show to be held at Cambridge on Thursday and Friday, March 7th and Bth next. Several new classes have been added, particulars of which will be found in the advertisement. We have been requested to draw the attention of exhibitors in the home industry and horticultural classes to the duplication of classes inserted to encourage non-prize takers at previous shows. While the committee wish to encourage the exhibition of the highest quality in all classes, it also recognises the need to draw out the efforts of exhibitors of less experience, and to this end duplicate classes in many cases have been inserted especially in preserved fruits, jams and jellies. Entries close on Saturday, 17th inst., and the settlers of the district are earnestly requested to rally round our most important institutions with every available exhibit. The committee cordially invite those who are not already members to apply to the secretary (Mr E. Veale) for nomination.
