Mr W. Bathe, who has ropregented the Roads, and subsequently the Public Works. Department in the Kawhia district lor a number o£ years, has been promoted to a district in Nelson. His promotion r.t Kawhia will be taken by Mr Clark, of Gisborne, who is expected to arrive shortly.
