ARRANGEMENTS FOR SHOW

A general committee meeting of the King Country Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held in the County Chambers on Wednesday evening. Mr Gadsby, president, was in the chair and there was a fair attendance.

Space Charges —lt was decided to leave the matter of charging for space in the hands of the president and secretary.

Classes Omitted. Attention was drawn to the fact that certain classes had been omitted from the schedule and it was decided that classes for the best tradesman's turnout, home made butter with salt, and Hereford cattle be added to the list already published.

Special Classes.—lt was decided to advertise that classes 4, 6, 0, 11, 13 and 14 were special classes.

Weight-guessing. —Mr R. M. Sumerville off reed to provide three sheep for the weight-guessing competition.

Registration. register the association under the Incorporated Societies' Act, the matter to be left in the hands of Messrs Somerville and Stevens to confer with Mr Sharpies. Judges.—The secretary notified that replies had been received from Messrs Little, McNiven, Hassall and Grant accepting the position of judges.

Stewards. Stewards were appointed as follows Draught horses, Mr G. Berry; light horses, Mr H. Voyce; competitions, Mr N. B. Lusk; fat cattle, Mr P. Quirk; dairy cattle, Mr S Corrigan; fat sheep, Mr Shannon; Romneys and farmers' classes, Mr A. Teague; Lincolns and Leicester, Mr K. Gould; pigs, Messrs Baker and Bailey.
