BOWLS.

It has been decided to send two rinks from Te Kuiti to Hamilton to take part in the tournament which commences on Monday next. Teams will be picked from the following:— Power. Cochrane, Williams, Matthew, Spencer, Petherick, Stevens and Verrall.

On Thursday afternoon some enjoyable rinks were played on the local green. The Cochrane Ferns were again in dispute, and after a keen struggle the team skipped by Lissaman wrested th? coveted trophies from the holders. The winning team consists of Messrs Lissaman (skip), Jones, Lusk and Holland. In the unavoidable absence of Major Lusk his place in the team was taken by Chilcott, while Porter's place in Spencer's team was taken by Eriksson
