A BLASTING FATALITY.
PREMATURE EXPLOSION,
[BY TELEGRAPH.—I'RKSS ASSOCIATION.] Dunedin, This Day. Thomas Reilly, employed on the construction works at Big Hill, on the Lawrence - Roxburgh railway, was tamping a blasting charge on Thursday, when the charge prematurely exploded., the hammer being driven into Reilly's forehead. The injuries proved fatal.
