There ia a good deal to be gained by covering haystacks well with straw; this will prevent so much damage and waste. The best quality wheat for breadmaking is grow n in the western parta of America, in Russia, and the souther n parts of Argentina. Horses cannot be too well cared for; they should have good, comfortable stables, with mangers which will cause as little waste as possible.
