HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLEGRAM. Although New Zealand lamb is quoted in the High Commissioner's cablegram this week, representatives of the meat companies here state that the season's lamb has not yet reached London market. A few score of carcases were sent Home for Christmas presents, but the first commercial shipments were dispatched by the Corinthic and the Pakeha, and cannot be on the Lnodon market before February Bth. The quotations given are therefore unreliable. (It is possible that the quotation was accurately made on a forward delivery sale, or that the carcases sold may have been in store from last season's shipment.) SYDNEY FLOUR MARKET. The price of flour has been raised. City brand, old season's, are now quoted at £9; new, £8 15s; country brands: Old, £8 17s 6d; new, £8 12s 6d.
