BOWLING.
Local players are now able to enjoy regular games on the green which has improved considerably since the season opened. It is intended to send two or three rinks to the South Auckland tournament to be held at Hamilton at the end of the month. The invitation extended by the West End Club to the local players will probably be accepted this month. The interchange of visits of this description is a highly enjoyable feature of the game, and one which should be encouraged to the utmost.
