RECOMMENDATIONS OF CONFERENCE. By Telegraph.—l'rcss Association.- Copyright Received January (>, 10 a.m. Capetown, Yesterday. A three days' Labour Conference at Bloemfontein recommended a White Labour policy; the establishment of a defence force precluding its use in industrial disputes. The conference also favoured bounties in lieu of a protective tariff; the separation of whites and natives, each with Advisory Councils, and disapproved of the pxtension of the franchise to natives.
