BOWLS.

A team from Te Kuiti consisting of Messrs Power, Dranstield, Matthew and Cochrane journeyed to Auckland to take part in the Annual Provincial Tournament, commencing on Boxing Day. In the first and second rounds on the opening day Te Kuiti piayers fared badly being beaten by Onehunga in the first and by Grey Lynn in the second. In the third round Te Kuiti and Karangahake played a draw each side scoring 18. Subsequently the team did much better and playing consistently throughout occupied second position in the section up till the concluding day.
