PROPOSED MAIL EXTENSION.
MAROKOPA DEMANDS. An agitation is on fool, to have a biweekly mail service est ahlished bctweon To Kuili and Marokopr, At present the iioaition ia far from satisfactory. The mail leaven To Kuiti on Friday morning reaching Mnngaoha« that, evening returning to To Kuiti on Saturday. The balance for the Marokopa end is picked up on Saturday morning arriving that evening. Tho result is that the large number of settlers between Marokopa and Mangaohae are unable to answer their correspondence for a week. When tho mail was started at, that end the mailman Wits able to carry it in front of him on the saddle. The mail is now the largest one that, leaves To Kuiti for the back blocks and takes a staunch pack horse to scumble along under (he burden of the ingoing ami outgoing mail to trial end. A most important reason why this mail should be esl ahlished twice a week is on account, of Ihe dairying industry.
