SWEDE TURNIP VARIETIES.
Very exhaustive test? have been conducted during the hist ten years in order to discover the merit reliable varieties. It has been found that under ordinary conditions there are about a dozen ports between which there is little to pick and choose, so far as cropping ability is concerned. Such varieties as Crimson King. Magnum IJonurn, Champion Purple Top, Superlative are all tea' good sorts, but Superlative has the unique quality of being almost wholly resistent to finirer and toe disease or club root. Best of AH has also the power to resist the disease to a somewhat lesser extent.
