LAWN TENNIS.

A committee meeting of the Te Kuiti Tennis Club was held in the Chronicle Buildings on Wednesday evening last, Accounts as read were passed for payment. In reply to an invitation from the Hamilton Club to play a match on their courts, it was resolved to submit Thursday, November 80th as a suitable date for the local team to travel.

The club rules were read as drafted by the secretary and wH be submitted to the general meeting for adoption. A general discussion followed upon matters in connection with the new courts, and it was decided to report on same to the general meeting.
