NOTICE OF LICENSING POLL AND NATIONAL PROHIBITION :POLL, AND OF TIME AND PLACE FOR SELECTION OF FIT PERSONS TO APPOINT SCRUTINEERS THEREFOR. IN prusuance of the Licensing Act, 190S, and the amendments thereto, I, Thomas Buchanan, Returning Officer for the Taumarunui Licensing District,, do hereby give notice that on the Seventh day of December, 1911, the day appointed for taking the Electoral Pol) for the Electoral District of Taumarunui simultaneously therewith a LICENSING POLL will be taken upon the following proposals:— ! VOTE FOR CONTINUANCE I VOTE FOR NO-LICENSE And concurrently with (he taking of the said Licensing I'oll (here will he submitted for (he determination of the electors of (he said Licensing District the question whether National Prohibition shall come into force throughout New Zealand. The question will be submitted in the following form : I VOTE AGAINST NATIONAL PROHIBITION I VOTE FOR NATIONAL PROHIBITION Nominations of persons to appoint Scrutineers in accordance with the Licensing Act, 190K, and the amendments thereto must be lodged with me not later than li o'clock in the afternoon of the 30th day of November, 1911. And I hereby give notice that I shall on the Second day of December, 1911, at the hour of 10 o'clock in the forenoon, at my office in Waitara, publicly consider all nomination papers of person-) to appoint Scrutineers which have been duly lodged in respect of the Licensing Poll for the said Licensing District and in respect of the National Prohibition Poll.
