Full Court, has upheld tho demurrer raised by tho plaintiff in the case of Perry, a member of tho Legislativr Assembly, against the Speaker (Mr Willis) and the Serjeant-at-Arms for assault and wrongful imprisonment arising out of the recei.t srems in tho Assembly. The defendants pieadeil not guilty, and that any action taken by them was for the purpose of preserving order and maintaining the Standing Orders.
