I'angi'.u settlers will bo glad to learn that as a result of the representations made by tlm settlers' ilepuration in Wellington last week, a wire has been received by Mr Jennings staling that the Government has requested the Crown Lands Cotumi:sioner for Taranaki to arrange for the purchase of stock for the settlers. This will go a long way towards making the settlement a success and will remove a serious didiculty with which those people without capita! were eonfronted.
