AT A STANDSTILL. [|IV TKI.KI.KAI'It. I'KKSS ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, This Day. The whole of the Auckland and suburban drainage scheme is hung up, on account of the men engngud on one of several contracts having struck. The trouble has arisen through one contractor having sub-let a portion of his contract to men who were earning ten shillings a day.
