At Hamilton on 12th inst., wc penned 45 fat steers, 15 fat cows, IS 15 head of store cattle and springers, 400 sheep, and 93 pigs. AH sold under good competition except springers, which were rather dull of sale. On 14th, we held a clearing sale at Ngaroto on account of Mr G. S. Clark. There was a large attendance, and splendid prices were realised. The 25 dairy cows in milk averaged £l3, making from £lO 15s to £ls, 2 springing Jersey heifers £ls 5s each; 1 pedigree Jersey cow 20gs 1 Jersey bull 11 months old £ls 15s, Jersey bull (i years old lOgs, IS months empty heifers £4 Is, pure Jersey heifer calf one month old 4igs, other heifer calves same age 3Ss, bull calves ewes and lambs 17s, breeding sows £3 to £3 7a Gd, young pigs 13s to 2os, draught mare in foal £lO, farm mares £26 to £32, Shetland pony gig and harness £35, implements, harness, etc., at full rates.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report as follows: — On 11th and 12th inst., we held our Ngaruawahia horse, fair, when there was a good enrty of unbroken and broken draughts and light horses.
