OTOROHANGA SALEYARDS CO.
The ordinary meeting of the above was held in Mr Vicary s office on tne 13th inst. Present Messrs Jno. Ormsby chairman, R. Green, R. F. Gregg, Chas. Cater, R. J. Matthews and Win. Vicary (secretary and treasurer.
Otorohanga Cricket Club asked for use of the 3aleyards paddock during the season. —Granted subject to a fee of 30s for the season. Mr Chas. Sutton wrote, re transfer of share from Mr Ranby to himself. -■-Transfer granted provided that Mr Sutton produces the necesary document signed by Mr Ranby. 'it was decided that the secretary notify those shareholders who were in arrears with their calls that unless immediate payment was made their shares would be forfeited forthwith. The advice of the company's solicitor, Mr F. O. R. Philiipps, was obtained in the matter of a deceased shareholder, who was a minor, as an application for a transfer of the share hsld by him had been made to the company. —Decided that the share be forfeited and that the _ person applying for it could take it up iti the ordinary way, less payments already made. It was decided to have the crushpen in connection with the yards erected at once, as they realised that there had been much unnecessary delav re this matter. 'it was suggested that the company erect an office at the yards for the convenience of the auctioneering Arms and their clients, but the matter was left in abeyance in the meantime. The filling in of a portion of the paddock adjoining the yards, with sawdust from the adjacent sawmills was also considered and a committee was appointed to report as to the probable cost of the project and to report to the directors at next meet ing-
