AMUSEMENTS.
EMPIRE PICTURE COMPANY. The programme produced at Te Kuiti Town Hall on Monday evening last by the above company was in every respect all that was claimed of it one of the best -and met with a most enthusiastic reception from a large audience. The different items, especially "The Outbreak" and "Across then Plains," two stirring Western dramas, evoked much enthusiasm. "Six Brompton Girls" introduced a troupe of girl acrobats, whose wonderful feats of tumbling, etc., wero quite a revelation; "Pathe's Gazette" was also a very line series, and the comic and scenic items were exceptionally good. On Monday evening next another monster programme is advertised, including a fine story entitled) "Exploits of Nat Pinkc<rton," the famous detective; "Lieut. Koso of the Gun-runners," "Wedding Hells," "Eldora, the Fruit Girl'*'; "Curious Caterpillars," natural history ; "Timber Industry," industrial; "Fishers ing in the Mediterranean," "Lake Garda," and "Crystal Palace," scenics; "Family Hear," "Evolution of Womankind," "Farmer Jenkins Visits the White City," and "Foolshead at. a Cockfight," amusing comics. PRINCESS PICTURES.
The Princess Picture l .! pay their usual weekly visit to Ts Kuiti tomorrow night and present, an entirely new programme. The management assures us that everything will be bright, and instructive. There will be scenics, dramatics, and comics to suit all tastes. No doubt there vvil] be a large attendance.
