VV AI TO MO COUNTY COUNCIL. KAISING A LOAN UNDER PARAGRAPH (d) OF SECTION 15 OF "THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, BY WAY OF SPECIAL ORDER. N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 15, of "The Local Bodies Loans Act. 1908," and with the consent of the ratepayers of the CAVES ROAD SPECIAL RATING AREA, IN THE WAITOMO COUNTY, hereinafter described, testified by a Petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capita! values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows :

For the purpose of widening ana metalling the . whole length of the Caves road, the Waitomo County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £2OOO at 3A per cent, per annum for a period of 3(U years, and declares the cost of raising the said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. The Special Rating Area comprises the whole of the following sections: —l, 2 and 3a, block viii., Kawhia South survey district; sections 3, 3a, 4, 5, 6, and part 1 and 2, block v., Orahiri survey district; sections 3, 8, 7, and 6, Hauturu West 18, No. 2, block i., Orahiri survey district; Hauturu East, No. Ic, No. 2, section 3, Ba, 6, 4, 4a 7a 5 8 and 7 block ix. Orahiri Survey district; and sections 2, 5, 2a, and 7, Hauturu East, N0.3, part Hauturu East, B No. 2c part, and part 6 and 4, block x, Orahiri survey district; sections 3 and 4, lb and la, block xiii.. Orahiri survey district; sections 3 and 4, lb and la, blocK xiii., Orahiri survey district; 5.G.R., No. 26 (or section 6) 1 and 2, Hauturu East, lb, No. 2, 3, 4, and 5, ; Kinohaku West 0 No. 1, Kinohaku West, 3b; Kinohaku East lb, section 2b, block xvi, Kawhia South survey district. The above resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on August 28th, 1911, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a Special Meeting of the Council, to be held at the County Chambers, Te Kuiti on Monday, 9th, October, 1911. WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER MAKING SPECIAL RATE. TiHAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," The Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: THAT for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principle and interest and other charges on a loan of £2OO(J, authorised to be raised by the Waitomo CountyCounc.il under the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and the amendments thereto, for the purpose of metalling and widening where required the whole of the Caves road, the sai.l Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of Five-eighths of a Penny in the Pound, upon the rateable values of all ratable properties in the CAVES ROAD SPECIAL RATING AREA, comprising the whole of Sections 1, 2, and 3a, block vii., Kawhia South survey district; sections o, oa, 4, 5, ii, and part 1, and 2, block v., Ornluri survey district, Sections 3, 8, 7 and (5 Native block, Hauturu West lb No. 2 block 1 Orahiri survey district, Native block, Hauturu East ; No. Ic, No. 2, sections 3, Ba, i 5, 4, -la, Ta, 5

S, and 7, block ix. Orahiri survey district; sections 2, 5, 2a, and 7, Native blocks, Hauturu East, No. o, part Hauturu East. B; No. 2c, part and part sections (i and 4, block x, Orahiri survey district; sections o and -1, ib and la, block .xiii., Orahiri survey district; S.G.R., No. 26 (or section 6); ! sections 1 and 2, Native blocks,. Hauturu East, lb, Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 5; Kinohaku East, lb section 2b,' Kinohaku West 0: No. ], Kinohaku West, No. 3b, block xvi, Kawhia survey district; and that such rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the Ist day of October in each and every year during the currency of such )oan, being a period of 36J years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The above resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council, held on August 2St|j, 1911, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a subsequent Special Meeting of the Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Monday, October 9th, 1911.
