PURCHASE OF PLANT. The directors of Te Kuiti district Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., nrrt on Thursday afternoon, and went exhaustively into the different tenders made for the supply of machinery and plant for the comnany. After close comparison it was decided to allot the boiler, engine adn Lmde freezer to Messrs J. J. Niven and Co., the combined churn and butter worker, the cream vat, scales and Babcock tester to Messrs Mason, Struthers and Co., and the pasteuriser and cooler to Messrs Anderson, of Dunedin. The total outlay will not be far short of £llOO when the whole of the machinery is erected. The Linde freezer is said to be one of the best in the world, oyer 270 having been supplied for New Zealand. It makes one and a-half tons of ice daily.
