WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL, RAISING A LOAN UNDER PARAGRAPH (d) OF SECTION 15 OF "THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT. 1908 " BY WAY OF SPECIAL ORDER. IN pursuance and exorcise of the powers vested in it by Section 15 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and with the consent of the ratepayers of the ARIA SPECIAL RATING AREA, in the Waitomo County, hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the said ratepayers who did not so consent, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: — THAT, for the purpose of forming and metalling portion of the Wirere road, the Totoro and Potaka roads, j the Waitomo County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £3500 at per cent, per annum for a period of 36£ years, and declares that the cost of raising the f-aid loan and the first year's interest on the loan, shall be payable out of the moneys so raised. The Special Rating Area comprises the whole of the following sections: —No. 1, block 10,Totoro survey district; sections 1, 3, 5, 6, 7,'8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, and 20; sections 2a, Mahoenui No, 2, Karu, Otewhenua, B No. 2, No. B part Mahoenui No. 3b, all of block ix. Totoro survey district; sections 1, 2, and 3, Umukaimata 3b, No. 1 and Umukaimata No. 3b, No. 2, all of block i., Aria survey district. The above resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on August 28th, 1911, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a subsequent Special Meeting of the Council, to be held at the Council Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Monday, October 9th, 1911. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows:--THAT for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principle and interest and other charges jon a loan of £3500 authorised to be | raised by the Waitomo County Council ; under the "Local Bodies Loans Act, i lOOg," andl amendments thereto, for j the pu-'poge of forming- and metalling a portion of the several roads of the ARIA SPECIAL RATING AREA, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of Twopence three Farthings in the Pound upon the ratable values of all rateaable properties in the Aria Special Rating Area, comprising the i whole of the following sections No. 1 block x, Totoro survey district; sections 1. 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 20, 12, 13, 14, 15, 1(5, 19, gind 20; section 2a Nativu blocks Mahoenui • No. 2 Karua-ote-whenua B No. 2 B part Mahoenui, I No. 3b, all of block ix., Totoro survey I district; sections 1, 2, and 3, Native blocks Umukaimata, 3b, No. 1 and Umukaimata No. 3b, No. 2, all of block 1, Aria Survey district, and that such rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the Ist day of October in each and every year, dyring the currency of such loan, being a period ol 364 years or until the loan is fully pajd pff. The above resolution was passed at a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on August 28th, 1911 and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a subsequent Special Meeting, to be held on Monday, October 9th, 1911.
