The total ratable value of Waitomo County in the period 1,910-11 was £512,702, and since the valuation rolls have been compared with the rate books by the county clerk, the total for 1911-12 has increased to £813,845. At |d in the £ the former figure brought in £1602. The latter amount will bring in £2543, an increase of £941.
