The Farmers' Co-opreative Co,, Ltd., report — Waihou, on July 28th, we had a yarding of 945 sheep, 656 cattle, including 165 dairy cows and heifers, and a fair amount of furniture, implements, and sundries. Sheep and cattle of all classes sold vvell, and nearly everything was disposed of. Fat wethers .made 17s Sd to 18s lid, fat ewes 15s 9d, forward wethers Lis 3d, good crossbred hoggets 9s Id to lis 3d, smaller sorts 6s 3d to 8s Id, cull eWes 5s 9d, aged ewes in lamb 10s, fat cows and heifers £4 15s to £6 4s, well fat tened steers £S 10s to £9 15s, rising 3 year store steers £4 17s 6d, store teers about 2 years £4, best calves almost yearlings £2 10s to £3, medium sort£2 to £2 ss, small sort 30s to 355, store cows £2 15s to £3 ss, best dairy heifers £G to £7 15s, smaller and backward sorts £4 15s to £5 10s, best dairy cows £7 to £9 2s Gd, others £4 15s to £5 15s.

At Nagruawhia on Friday, 28th, we held our usual monthly sale. We offered 554 cattle and 1200 slvep. There was a good demand for all classes, and almost a total clearance was effected at most satisfactory figures. Prices: Fat cows £5 6s to £6 7s, fat bulocks £9 ss, 3 year steers £5 Is to £5 3s, 2h to 3 year steers £4 lis to £4 17s (id, empty store cows £2 10s to £3 2s 6d, yearlings £2 2s lid to £2 10s, strong calves £1 lls to £1 16s, best springing heifers, with quality, size and condition £7 10s to £9, others £5 2s 6d to £6 10s, small and backward heifers £4 2a (id to £1 15s, dairy cows £5 5s to £6 173 Gd, cull cows £2 15s to £3 10s fat ewes 13s, fat hoggets 13s 3d, store hoggets 10s lid, ewes in lamb mixed ages 14s 9d, f.m. ewes in lamb lis.
Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd,, report — At Te Awamutu, on Saturday 29th wo held our usual stock 3ale, when a full yarding of cattle and pigs came forward, also a few ;jhcep. The demand for young was very good and the sale throughout was brisk. Pigs also sold well, but sheep were dull of sale. We quote as follows: Pigs weaners 4s to 7s 6d, slips 9s to 14s, porkers 17s tol9s9d; cattle fat cows £5 15s, forward cows £3 19s to £4 10s, 3 year steers £5 2s to £5 17s 6d, empty heifers £1 15s to £4 10s, yearling steers £2 10s to £2 18s, yearling heifers £2 lis to 3 2s, mixed yearlings small £1 Gs to £1 14s, springing heifers £6 5s to £7 15s, cows £5 2s 6d to £5 17s.
