On the same day I held a clearing sale on account Messrs Brogan Bros, on Robson road, when early calvers made £G 10s, to £lO 15s, later £4 to £6, heifers £2 Is to £5 12s (id, rearling heifers £2 7s 6d yearling steers £2 5s 6d, gig £5 10s', dray £ll ss, gig pony £lO, trap mare £l7 10s, sow £4 10s, porkers 28s. At Stony River on Wednesday 26th, there was a small yarding, but the bidding was good, especially for young cattle, which all sold at satisfactory prices. Other lines were not saleable, but most lines were quitted at the hammer or privately.
