A meeting of the Boy Scouts will be held in the. Church of England Hall to-morrow evening. The monthly meeting of the Magistrate's Court talces place to-morrow. On Saturday evening, members oC the Tanehopuwai Football Club's team were entertained at, dinner in the Haeremai Tea-rooms, by Mr and Mrs J. Hawira. The host, who is one of the keenest supporters of the Club and a prominent member of the team, spoke encouragingly to the players generally. He said it gave him pleasure to be associated with uch a fine lot of "sports." The hostess likewise cheered the tea-ii to further efforts, and predicted success for them eventually if they kept together and "played the game." Messrs Rawiri (Secretary) and Hira Poutawera (Captain) responded, and expressed the team's appreciation of their hosts' generosity and goodfellowehip.
At a meeting of shareholders of the Te Rau aMoa Dairy Factory Co., held on Saturday week, it was decided, by 11 votes to 8, rot to take over and open the Kawhia factory, but provided 200 cows were guaranteed exclusive of Te Rau a Moa suppliers, to remove the latter factory to Kawhia.
