ALEXANDRA RINK. This popular pastime is still booming ahead. On Thursday afternoon the Rink was crowded, and in the evening a large crowd both of skaters and onlooker* was present during the evening A football match was played on skates, and proved very exciting, ending in a drawn game—two goals to each team. On Monday night a one-mile handicap will be run off. and on the following Monday and Tuesday nights, 3rd and 4th July,a fancy dress carnival will be held, when all skaters must be in poster or fancy dress.
