The police have received a report from Waimatenui, 20 mile 3 north of Kiahu, stating that a farmer named Edward Whiting, 22 years of age, and single, has been missing since Sunday. Late yesterday afternoon the search parties found his dead body in a creek. An inquest will be held today.
