A.M.P.

SATISFACTORY REPORT. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright Received May 9, 10.10 p.m. Sydney, Last Night. At the A.M.P. annual meeting the Chairman declared that, without special effort, the new business constituted a record. The mortality experience was remarkably favourable, and there was a large increase of disbursements, due to surrenders by railway employees following the Superannuation Act. The management expenses showed a pleasing decrease. The Federal Land Tax will impose a burden of about £4OOO. The industrial branch has increased so as to enable the company to declare a bonus at the end of the year for policy holders of five years standing. Altogether, the report was the most satisfactory ever issued.
