IRON CHIMNEYS.

To The Editor. Sir,—l understand the Engineer is going to refuse all applications for iron chimneys after Friday night's meeting of the Works Committee. I hope some Councillor will bring up before the Council meeting that the building regulations be made more elastic, as it is likely to cause a great injustice to many who cannot get bricks, and more especially seeing the insurance regulations wj-iJI allow iron chimneys two feet frftm any wall. I am, et, DOVER HEATER.
