REFUSE DEPOT.
To The Editor. Sir, —In your report of the Borough Council meeting held on the 3rd May, the Mayor is reported as stating that both the Inspector and Dr. Makgill said thare would he no objection from any one. I, with others, would very much like to know how the gentlemen named could make, such a statement, seeing that the people most interested were not consulted. I can assure you, Sir, there will be strong objection, on sanitary grounds alone, why the proposed site should not be allowed. Apologising for trespassing on your valuable space.—l am, etc, J. F. WALSH, Wilson's Siding.
