Mrs and Miss Cowley li 1 ; Miss Jordan and Miss Graham 3U v. Mrs Reynolds and Miss Weston 30. Owing to tho failing light this match had to lie stopped before completion. There still remain the combined doubles, three men's singles and the completion of the unfinished ladies' doubles to be played. At the present stage Te Kuiti have five wins to their credit and have suffered one loss. The remaining matches will be played off at Te Kuiti at an early date. The Te Kuiti players speak highly of the hospitality of the Taumarunui tennia players, and thoroughly enjoyed their visit. The weather was unfortunate, but in spite of this fact, some close and exciting games were witnessed.
