OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL.

ADJUSTING REPRESENTATION IN THE COUNCIL. IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2?. of "The Counties Act the Ohura County Council resolves by way of special order, as follows: 1. —The present division of the County of Ohura into seven Ridings is revoked, and in lieu thereof the said County shall be divided into nine ridings to be called respectively, Waitewhena Riding, Niho Niho Riding, Otangiwai Riding, Matiere Riding, Turoto Riding, Mangakara Riding, Mangaroa Riding, Kururau Riding and Tatu Riding, which said ridings are respectively described in the schedule hereto. 2. —The said Ohura County Council shall consist of nine members who shall be elected, one for each riding. 3. —The alteration hereby made shall take effect on and after the eighth day of November 1911. SCHEDULE:— WAITEWHENA RIDING. All that area in the Ohura bounded toward the north generally by the Waitomo County from the Mokau River to Paro road, thence along the Paro road, thence along the block line by section 10 block 6 Aria to the corner of section 8 block 7 Aria S.D., thence by block line in a south-westerly direction to Puketawai trig station, thence in a straight line passing through section 3 block 10 Aria S.D. to the most northerly point of section 1 block 14 Aria S.D., thence by block line on the eastern side of section 1 and 4 block XIV Aria S.D. to Ratatornokia trig station, thence along the western boundary of section 24 and 20 block XlV.Aria S.D. and section 20 and 19 block 11. Ohura S.D. to Prentice road, thence by Prentice road to the eastern-most corner of section 18 block II aforesaid, thence by sections Nos. 7, 10, 11, 13, 35, of the aforesaid block, thence by the dividing line between sections 2b and 2a to the Ohura road, thence by the Ohura road to a point in line with the north boundary of Taurangi No. 4. block, thence by a right line to and by the northern boundary of that block to its northernmost corner, thence towards the west generally by section No. 5 block I. Ohura S.D. the southern and western boundary of section 1 block aforesaid, and. the western boundary of sections No. 4, 3, 2 block I Ohura S.D. to the northern boundary of that block thence again towards the south by the said block XII and blocks X and IX Mokau S.D. to the County boundary, and thence again towards the west generally by Clifton and Awakino Counties to the place of commencement. NIHO NIIIO RIDING. All that area in the Ohura County bounded towards the north by section 2 block VII Aria to the Piere road, thence by section 3 block VII Aria to a point in line with section 4 block VIII Aria S.D. and section 2 block XI Aria S.D., thence by section 4 block 8 Aria S.D. to section 12 block II Aria S.D.,thence by sections 3 and 13 block XI Aria S.D. to the Mangakahikatea road, thence by Mangakahikatea road to the western corner of section 5 block XI Aria S.D., thence by sections 5 and 6 block XI Aria S.D. to the Mangapapa stream, thence by the Mangapapa stream to the western corner of section 22 block XV Aria S.D., thence by the section aforesaid to section 24 block XV Aria S.D., thence westerly towards section 13 block XV Aria S.D., thence by section 24 block XV Aria S.D. to the Whenukura road, thence by the Whenukura mad to the western boundary of section 9 block XV Aria S.D., thence by sections 9 and 15 block XV Aria S.D. to Ratatomokia block, thence by boundary line between No. A section I and No A section 2 to the Ohura river, thence by the said river to the Pukerimu stream, thence by the said stream to the north-eastern corner of section 7, block S, Ohura S.D., thence in a north-easterly direction passing by sections 6 and 10, block 3, Ohura S.D. and sections 1 and 4, block 4. OTANGIWAI RIDING. AH that area in the Churn County bounded towards the north by the Waitomo County from the northwestern corner of section No. S Ploclc VII Aria S.D. to the Ongarue river, thence towards the east by that river to the northern boundary of block XII Tangitu S.D.,ihence towards the west generally by blocks XII and XI Tangitu S.D. and block XVI Aria S.D.to the eastern boundary of section No. 15 block XII. thence part of the eastern boundary by that of that section and eastern boundary of section No. 0 block XVI Aria S.D. to its southeastern corner, thence bv the southern boundary of sections 0 and <S the southern boundary of section o block XVI aforesaid, thence northerly to the north comer of section <> block XVI Aria S.D., thence by section 0 to the Mokau-Ohura road, thence by the northern boundary of sections No. 25 and 24 block XV Aria S.D., therice north generally by the Niho Niho and Waitewhena ridings hereinbefore described to the place of commencement,

All that area in the Ohura County bounded towards the north by the Waitewhenua riding hereinbefore described from the County boundary to the western boundary of section 2 block XIII Aria S.D., thence towards the east generally by the said Waitewhena riding to the northern-most corner of Taurangi No. 4 block, thence by that block to the Mangakara stream, thence by that stream to the Mangapaerea road, thence by the said road to the western corner of section 1 sub. of Mangaroa, thence by sections 6, 7, 9, 20, 22, 23 sub. of Mangaroa town to the railwayline, thence by the railway line to the Ohura road, thence by the said Ohura road to its junction with the Mahorahora road, thence by the said Mahorahora road to the north-western boundary of section 3 block IX Ohura, thence by the. section to the north-eastern corner of section 8 block IX Ohura S.D., thence i by sections IS, 17 and 10 block IX | Ohura S.D. to Peak trig station, thence along the block line to Mahoewaruwara trig station, thence by section 1 block XII WaroS.D.to Tamu trig station, thence towards the south by block XIV WaroS.D.to the County boundary, and thence towards the west generally by Clifton County to the place of commencement. MANGAROA RIDING. All that area in the Ohura County bounded towards the north generally by the Waitewhena and Turoto ridings hereinbefore described from the northernmost corner of Taurangi No. 4 block to the northernmost corner of section 2c Mangaroa, thence towards the east generally by the Turoto riding aforesaid to the Mangaroa stream. thence by section 2 Mangaroa to the Mahorahora road, thence by the said road to its junction with the Ohura road, thence by the north generally by the Mangakara riding hereinbefore described to the place of commencement. KURURAU RIDING. All that area in the Ohura County bounded to the north generally by the Matiere riding hereinbefore described from the south-east corner of section 2 block 111 Ohura S.D. to the eastern boundary of the County, thence towards the east generally by West Taupo and Waimarino Counties to the north corner of Whangamomona j County, thence towards the west by I that County to the Ohura river, and | thence towards the north-west by the I Ohura river to the Turoto riding, ' thence by the Turoto riding hereinbefore described to the placs of commencement. TATU RIDING. ' All that area in the Ohura County ' bounded towards the north generally Iby tho Mangakara and Mangaroa ridings hereinbefore described from : the Clifton boundary to the Ohura river at the north-eastern corner of section 2 block XIV Ohura S.D., thence towards the east by Kururau riding hereinbefore described to the northern boundary of the Whangamomona County, thence towards the , south by that County to the eastern boundary of Clifton County, and thence towards the west by Clifton County to the place of commencement. The above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Ohura County Council hel3 on the 11th day of March 1911, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a special meeting of the Council to be , held on Saturday the 29th day of April 1911 at the County Chambers, i Mangaroa.
