Miss Mills, late with Messrs Milne and Choyce, Ltd., Auckland, opens today in premises opposite the new Union Bank, Rora street, Te Kuiti, with an up-to-date display of millenery. She invites ladies to call and inspect models and quotations. The railway goods shed is proving too small for the enormous quantities of goods reaching Te Kuiti. Frequent remraks are passed by consignors that hours of time are wasted in getting delivery, and this notwithstanding that the stalf has been increased recently. The Mayor of Te Kuiti (Mr James Boddie) returned from a visit to the Taranaki district on Monday. He was greatly impressed with the vances made in dairying matters, and mentioned to a "Chronicle" representative that one factory alone was saving £I4OO a year through the adoption of the combined churn and butter worker.
