WHYTE, Stationer, i Otorohanga, is now the sole agent for the "Chronicle" in that district. Delivery to town subscribers is made on arrival of the paper, and subscribers living further out are notified that the "Chronicle" will in future be found at Mr Whyte's shop, instead of the Otorohanga Post Office. On Easter Monday 17th April the Post and Telegraph office will be open in all branches except money order and savings bank from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. All mails usually despatched on Friday, 14th April will close at 7 a.m. with exception of Main Trunk, which will close at 5 p.m. All mails usually despatched on Monday, 17th April, will close at 10 a.m., with exception of back-blocks, which will close as usual at 7 a.m. There will be a delivery of correspondence over the counter from 7 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, 13th April. No delivery will be made by the carrier on Good Friday or Easter Monday. The Telephone Exchange will be closed all day on Good Friday and Easter Monday.
