WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. In the matter of "The Counties Act, 1908," "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908." and of the i Acts amending same respectively. THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908" and "The Local Bodies Loans Amendment Act, 1908," and amendments thereof, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: That for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a ioan of £750, authorised to be raised by the Waitomo County Council under the above-mentioned Acts, for the ! purpose of metalling the Otcrobanga- ! Pirongia road, the said Waitomo | County Council hereby makes and j levies a Special Rate of One Penny ! (Id) in the Pound {£) upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Otorohanga-Pirongia Special Rating Area, comprising all the properties situated within the following I boundaries: —■ j Commencing at the North - east | corner of the section called Waiwhakaata No. 3E No. 3 by the Western Boundary of the said section to Turitea Stream, thence by the Turitea Stream to the South-west corner of Section ? Block XVI Pirongia Survey '. trict. thence along the Southern boundary of the said Section 2 to the Eastern boundary of Section 7 of the said block, thence by the western boundary of sections 7, 10 and S (native reserve) to the said Block XVI, thence by the Northern and Western boundaries of Maungarangi No. 2B Section 2B No. 1, thence by the Western boundaries of Section 7, 2B No. I, S of Block XV Pirongja Survey District, thence by the Western boundaries of Section ISA of Block 111 Orahiri Survey District, then generally towards the South by the Northern boundaries of Sections 5 and 6 of Block 111 Orahiri and the Northern boundaries of 78, and SA of Block IV Orahiri, thence by the Western boundary of Otorohanga Q 3B and 3A, thence by the Southern boundaries of the said section Q SB and 3A, thence by the Otorohanga-Pirongia Road to the Waitomo Stream, thence along the Waitomo Stream to the Northeast boundary of Otorohanga A, thence along the Southern boundary of Otorohanga No. 2A to the Waipa River, thence by the Waipa River to the North-east corner of Section 4 Block XII Pirongia Survey District, thence by the Southern boundary of Section 2 Block XII to the Otoro-hanga-Pirongia' Road, thence by the Otorohanga-Pirongia to the commencing point: —■ And such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the Ist day of February and the Ist day of August in each and every year during the currrency of such loan, being a period of 36J years or until such loan is fully paid off; and subject in all respects to the provisions relating to a Special Rate raised as a security for a loan under the said Act, The Interest to be paid on such loan is at the rate of Four Pounds Seventeen Shillings and Sixpence per cent, per annum, and the interest thereon for one year, together with the cost of raising the loan is to be paid out of such ioan. And notice is also hereby given that the said resolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the Waitomo County Council to be held at the County Office, Te Kuiti, on FRIDAY, the 28th day of April, 1911, for confirmation as a Special Order. WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL SPECIAL ORE In the matter of "The Loans Act, 1908," amending same. jocai Bodies and the Acts TN pursuance and exercise of the -i power vested in it by section 15 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1908," and amendments thereof, and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Otorohanga-Pirongia Special Rating Area, in the Waitomo County hereafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than threefourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area, the capital value of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: —■ For the purpose of metalling the Otorohanga-Pirongia road, the Waitomo County Council hereby authorieses the raising of a loan of £750 at 3h per cent, per annum for a period of 36J years, and declares that the costs "of raising said loan and the first year's interest on the loan shall be payable out of the monies so raised.
