TE KUITI DOG TRIALS CLUB.
Te Kuiti Dog Trials Club has now fully prepared its programme for tomorrow, Thursday, and the following Friday and Saturday. When the plans were first drawn up, it was expected that the trials could be completed in a couple of days, but 120 entries having come in from all over the North Island, it i 3 anticipated that the trials will extend over the whole of three days. The trials are to take place in Mr N. B. Lusk's tine paddock on the Awakino road, and \t should be noted that entrance is given by that road only. A start is to be made at S a.m. each day. This being the first year of the trials in Te Kuiti, and there being such a large number of first class dogs entered, the trials are sure to create great interest amongst the public generally. The wonderful work well-trained dogs are capable of should be seen to be fully appreciated, and the encouragement of these trials by the district generally, makes for a high-class animal and stimulates healthy competition. A dinner is to be given on Friday evening in the Town Hall at 8 p.m., and tickets are obtainable up to noon of Thursday only, from the secretary, Mr F. Hammond.
