OHURA COUNTY COUNCIL. ADJUSTING REPRESENTATION IN THE COUNCIL. IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of "The Counties Act 1908" the Ohura County Council resolves by way of special order, as follows: I.—The present division of the County of Ohura into seven Ridings is revoked, and in lieu thereof the paid County shall be divided into nine ridings to be called respectively, Waitewhena Riding, Niho Nino Riding, Otangiwai Riding, Matiere Riding, Turoto Riding, Mangaknra Riding, Mangaroa Riding, Kururau Riding and Tutu Killing, which said ridings are respectively described in the schedule hereto. 2.—The said Ohura County Council shall consist of nine members who shall he elected, one for each riding. 3.— The alteration hereby made shall take etl'ect on and after the SCHEDULE:— WAITEWHENA RIDING. All that area in the Ohura bounded toward the north generally by the Waitomo County from the Mokau River to Faro road, thence along the Paro road, thence along the block line by section 10 block G Aria to the corner of section S block 7 Aria S.D., thence by block line in a south-westerly direction to Puketawai trig station, thence in a straight line passing through section 3 block 10 Aria S.D. to the most northerly point of section 1 block 14 Aria S.D., thence by block line on the eastern side of section 1 and 4 block XIV Aria S.D. to Ratatomokia trig station, thence along the western boundary of section 24 and 20 block XIV. Aria S.D. and section 20 and 19 block 11. Ohura S.D. to Prentice road, thence by Prentice road to the eastern-mo3t corner of section 18 block II aforesaid, thence by sections Nos. 7, 10, 11, 13, 35, of the aforesaid block, thence by the dividing line between sections 2b and 2a to the Ohura road, thence by the Ohura road to a point in line with the north boundary of Taurangi No. 4 block, thence by a right line to and by the northern boundary of that block to its northernmost corner, thence towards the west generally by section No. 5 block 1. Ohura S.D. the southern and western boundary of section 1 block aforesaid, and the western boundary of sections No. 4, 3, 2 block XII Aria S.D. to the northern boundary of that block thence again towards the south by the said block XII and blocks X and IX Mokau S.D. to the County boundary, and thence again towards the west generally by Clifton and Awakino Counties to the place of commencement. NIHO NIHO RIDING. All that area in the Ohura County bounded towards the north by section 2 block VII Aria to the Piere road, thence by section 3 block VII Aria to a point in line with section 4 block VIII Aria S.D. and section 2 block XI Aria S.D., thence by section 4 block 8 Aria S.D. to section 12 block II Aria S.D., thence by sections 3 and 13 block XI Aria S.D. to the Mangakahikatea road, thence by Mangakahikatea road to the western corner of section 5 block XI Aria S.D., thence by sections 5 and G block XI Aria S.D. to the Mangapapa stream, thence by the Mangapapa stream to the western corner of section 22 block XV Aria S.D., thence by the section aforesaid to section 24 block XV Aria S.D., thence westerly towards section 13 block XV Aria S.D., thence by section 24 block XV Aria S.D. to the Whenukura road, thence by the Whenukura road to the western boundary of section 9 block XV Aria S.D., thence by sections 1) and 15 block XV Aria S.D. to Ratatomokia block, thence by boundary line between No. A section I and No A section 2 to the Ohura river, thence by the said river to the Pukerimu stream, thence by the stream to the corner of section 7 and 11, block 111 Ohura S.D., thence by section 7 aforesaid in a westerly direction to the Waitangata road, thence in a straight line to the most easterly corner of section 13 block 3 Ohura S.D., thence by section 2 in a westerly direction to the Ohura river, tSience by the said river to the most southerly boundary of section XI block 2 Ohura 6.D., thence by section 13 block 2 Ohura S.D. to the eastern boundary of section 1G block 2 Ohura ami thence toward the north generally by the Waitewhena riding hereinbefore described to the place of commencement. OTANGIWAI RIDING. All that area in the Ohura County bounded towards the north by the Waitomo County from the northwestern corner of section No. 8 Block VII Aria S.D. to the Ongarue river, thence towards the east by that river to the northern boundary of block XII Tangitu S.D.,thence towards the west generally by blocks XII and XI Tangitu S.D. and block XVI Aria S.D.to the eastern boundary of section No. 15 block XII, thence part of the eastern boundary by that of that section and eastern boundary of section No. 9 block XVI Aria S.D.to its southeastern corner, thence bv the southern boundary of sections 9 and 8 the southern boundary of section 5 block XVI aforesaid, thence northerly to the north corner of section G block XVI Aria S.D., thence by section 6 to the Mokau-Ohura road, thence by the northern boundary of sections No. 25 and 24 block XV Aria S.D., thence north generally by the Niho Niho and Waitewhena ridings hereinbefore described to the place of commencement. MATIERE RIDING. All that area in the Ohura County bounded towards the north by the Otangiwai riding hereinbefore described, at the north-western corner of section 24 block XV Aria to the Ongarue river thence towards the east by that river to the northern boundary of block IV Rangi S.D., thence towards the west by blocks
