BOTH DROWNED. By Telegraph.--Pre.•= Association.—Copyright Received March 29, 9.40 a.m. London, Last Night. A girl, arrested for stealing at Matlock, Derhyhsire, jumped into the river. A poilceman followed, and the girl gripped him and refused to release her hold. Both were drowned. A second policeman dived repeatedly into fifteen feet of- water, but could not succeed in rescuing them.
