REPLIES WITH A SHOT GUN. [nr TKi.iaut.Yru. —it.kss association.] Napier, This Day, J. Hannay was charged in the Magistrate's Court yesterday with firing shots at three men on the previous evening. Defendant says the men molested him when taking a girl home from a picture show, and afterwards waylaid him when by himself and near his own residence. He went in, got a shot gun, and discharged both barrels in order, he states, to frighten them. One man was struck by a pellet but the others are uninjured. The accused was remanded till to-day.
