BOY SCOUT MOVEMENT.
A meeting of the committee of the Boy Scouts was held in the "Chronicle" office, on Monday evening, Rev. Wayne presiding. Mr C. F. Bennett, scout organiser, was present, and gave the committee much useful information. He advised an immediate start. The boya were keen and a great many of them looked forward to being scouts. The useful work taught made the boya more efficient for other branches of military training. Messrs P. H. Sims and H. It was decided to invite Chief Scout-Master Garrington, of Taumarunui, to be present at the ceremony.
