[BY TELEGRAPH.—L'PHSS ASSOCIATION". ] Hokitika, Thi3 Day. The thirty-second annual meeting of the United Fire Brigades' Association opened here yesterday with a hundred delegates present. The record showed the balance of assets over liabilities to®be £7860. The total number of brigades affiliated was 45. It was decided that the secretary's term of office should be three years. The following officials were elected: — President, Mr Boyes, Napier; vicepresidents, Messrs Lewer (Wescport) and Salmon (Dunedin) ; secretary, Mr Watts (Newmarket) ; traesurer, Mr Spraggins (Wanganui).
