AUSTRALIA'S PROSPECTS.
SOLUTION OF LABOUR QUESTION. MORE POPULATION. By Telegrapji.—Press Association. —Copyright Received February 22, 5.15 a.m. London, Yesterday. Mr Sinclair, Scottish Agricultural Commissioner, who has been touring Australia, was interviewed on his arrival at Plymouth. He spoke enthusiastically of Australian prospects. In his opinion Australia was the saddest country he had ever seen with regard to the Labour problems confronting the Commonwealth. He said he had never heard more bitter expressions used by employees to employers or vice versa, than in Australia. The solution of the Labour question could only be reached by increased population. Mr Barber, Commissioner of Imigration, interviewed,, said artesian boring would render droughts much less serious. He predicted a very promising future for Australia.
