THOMAS DOWIE FUND.
The total subscriptions to hand in aid of the above fund are as follows: - Mrs F. 11. White, £7 Is; "Chronicle," £5 los; Mr Nichclis, £2 14s tid ; Oparure School children, £1 19s: Mairoa School children, 12s; total, £l7 19s tid. The teachers of at the Oparure School, en behalf of the school children, wish to thank all those who kindly contributed to the fund, and to specially thank the "Chronicle" staff for their great assistance, and also Mrs F. H. White, and Messrs Nicbolls and Voyce (Mairoa), who so kindly co-operated in the work of collecting. Steps are now being taken to procure the artificial limb from America. Mr Nicholls has been appointed trustee to the fund and all outstanding subscriptions may be left at his store.
