COOGEE HEROES.
B.v Telesrraiili.—Press Association.-Copyr'Klit Keceived January 01, 8.55 p.m. Sydney, Last Night. A movment has been started to recognise the heroic actions of Baker and darken, at Cuogee. Both already hold medals for ilie-saving. Clark en has the New Zealand Humane Society's silver medal, and Baker is credited with at least a hundred rescues. Mr Hugh Ward, besides heading the fund with £SO, organises a monster athletic carnival.
