Kattenbury, M'Cluggage and Kennedy. Transfers. — Miss B. Macfarlane to 'C. H. Hope, sections 4 and 8, block ! 9, Ohuva, approved conditionally upon ; the transferee residing in a bona ride ! manner within three months, the Commissioner voting against the resolution. T. G. Oldaker to T. E. Lawi rence, sections 9 and 10, block 5, i Ngatirimu, approved. Isaac Bason Ito J. S. Daniell, section J, block 10, ! Kapara, approved. N. Duller to i\. \ and A. Duller, section 2, block 2, : Heao, recommended for approval. : Messrs Malone, Anderson and Johnstone applied for extension of time to complete the transfer from C. Matthews to C. and H. D. Matthews of section 12, block 12, Waitara, ap- ; proved. The Freehold. —C. and H. D. Mati thews, section 12, block 12, Waitara; F. E. Dobson, section 25, block 5, and sections 23 and 29, block (5, Ngati- '; rimu: Resolved that both applications ' be approved. Rangers' Report.--Mr H. T. Twiss, Crown Lands Ranger, reported upon portion of the Kohuratahi road in section 2, block 15, Pouatu, which had been closed, and it was resolved that the land be c lie red for sale to the adjoining owner in terms of the ran : ge'r's report. E. Tolme ranger, reported on the application of the Ohura County Council for a tenancy of part section 12, block 9, Mangaroa township, and the application was granted.
i Surrender.--W. M. Peacock wrote surrendering his interest in section ; 17, block 11, Mapara, the surrender | being accepted. Forfeited.--It was resolved to forfeit the interest of G. H. Lynch in section 15, block 12, Mapara, he having failed to take up the land when allotted to him. Temporary Lease. —E. L. Erlandson applied for a temporary lease of 13 acres of Spotswood settlement at | present held by E. George. It was i resolved that Mr George be given j notice of termination of tenancy, and i that application of Mr Erlandson be I granted. ! "Thirds." The Whangamomona I County Council wrote with regard to I "thirds" from section 2, block 15, i Pouatu, which the tenant required to jbe spent on Mauku road, though ! access is by Whitianga road. Rej solved that the whole of the "thirds" I be spent on the Mauku road, commencing at the junction of the Whitianga road ! Marangae Clock.—The Under-Sec- ' retary for Lands advised with regard ;to expenditure of loan money on ■ Marangae block. It was resolved that i the board regrets that the settlers of this block should have, been placed in ! the present unfortunate position in | that the money usually expended for I road construction within the block had been taken for bridge construction on an arterial road, the cost of which is generally provided by special vote for pjblic works.
