SATURDAY HALF-HOLIDAY

FIXED FOR WAITOMO COUNTY. At a special meeting of the Waitomo Cuunty Council, held this morning, it was decided to appoint Saturday in each week as the day for holding the statutory half-holiday in the County. This applies to the whole of the County, outside the borough of Te Kuiti. A meeting of the Borough Council will he held on Monday evening next to decide what day shall be affixed for the borough.
