SALE OF LEASEHOLD SECTIONS.
♦ A sale of leasehold sections totalling 27SS acres, situated in the Maraetaua Block, Otanake and Totoro survey district,, was held by the Maori Land Board in the Courthouse, Te Kuiti, yesterday. The sections are situated on the Awakino road, some eight miles from Te Kuiti. Mr J. W. Seymour officiated a? auctioneer. Mr W. H. Bowler, president qf the WaikatoManiapoto District Maori Land Board, was also present. The sections were put up for auction in the following order: Section J.—209 acres 1 rood 32 perches, upset annual rental i''33, loaded with £2O for improvements. — J. T. Ilelet at 73 (id per acre rental. Section 1.--168 acres 1 rood 8 perches, upset rental Cs per acre, loaded with 4:116 for improvements. —B. Anderson, at 7s 6d per acre rental. Section 11.—258 acres 2 roods 28 perches, upset rental 5s per acre. — Pohe Tawhana, at 7s 8d per acre rental. Section D.--159 acres 1 rood 8 perches, upset rental -is fid per acre - -L. Wooerson, at 7s 3d per acre. Section F.—22 acres 1 rood 24 perches, upset rental 4s.—H. Iletet at 9s 9d per acre. Section E.—2o acres 2 roods 32 perches, upset rental 4s. —H. Kothery, at 93 per acre. Section C— l 24 acres 2 roods 22 acres, upset rental 3s 9d per acre.- - D. Webster, at 4s 9d per acre. Section 8.—565 acres 2 roods, upset rental 3s 3d per acre, secondclass land.—Passed, no bid.
